Contemporary Indian Women
Indian women are quite contemporary with their counterparts of Europe, America (USA) and other developed nations. The most stricking feature is that, even if the literacy rate among Indian Women is much less than the male counterparts, the most of the household activities are controled, planed and executed by them. It is very rare to see an Indian Women, who may be a mother, a sister or a wife, has no say in her family. However that voice may or may not be heard by the male dominated family is entirely a different issue. Even, in the most advanced nationes women voice are not heard by the male counterparts. Yes, there is always be exceptions. In this regard the communist's appear to be more progressive than others. However, the Indian Women are gradually entering the male dominated fields by virtue of their ability. Now, the Indian society is gradually but surely shifting it's balance of power towards women.
